Here’s a list of the gear I’m currently using for my Macro photography
For my macro photography, I rely on the exceptional capabilities of the Sony A7R V, a camera that delivers unparalleled detail and dynamic range. My go-to lens is the Sony FE 100mm f/2.8 MACRO GM OSS, which allows me to capture the finest details of tiny worlds with incredible sharpness and beautiful bokeh. This combination helps me bring out the textures and hidden beauty in every subject I photograph.
In my bag you’ll always find my Sony A7R V paired with the Sony FE 100mm f/2.8 MACRO GM OSS, my favorite lens for capturing the tiniest details in nature. I also bring along a few other lenses for creative flexibility, several fast SD cards, and plenty of extra batteries to keep me shooting for hours. Add in cleaning cloths and small accessories, and I’m ready to capture the beauty of the small world wherever I go.
The gear I use always depends on where I’m heading and what I plan to capture. For my macro photography adventures, I carefully select lenses and accessories to help reveal those tiny worlds up close. Outside of macro, you’ll often find me bringing along my trusty tripod—not just for landscapes, but also for creative reels and behind-the-scenes shots.
Before every shoot, I make sure all my camera batteries are fully charged, and I always pack a few spares just in case. I clean my lenses and sensors, and double-check that all my equipment—like memory cards, cleaning kits, and remote triggers—is ready to go. Flexibility is key, so my gear list is always tailored to the story I want to tell and the conditions I might encounter. No two adventures are ever quite the same, and I like to be prepared for anything!
Besides photography, I have a deep passion for editing both photos and videos. For my workflow, I rely on a few essential programs. I use Adobe Lightroom for basic editing tasks, such as reducing noise, enhancing contrast, and boosting colors. For more advanced edits—like masking subjects or adding extra light and color—I turn to Adobe Photoshop. And when it comes to creating dynamic Instagram Reels, I use Adobe After Effects to bring my creative ideas to life.
